Actually, the handle is full tang steel wrapped with leather washers, it's pretty neat. If you watch "How It's Made", you may have seen it. For camping!

No, it's definetly more for bluntly chopping wood and hammering tent stakes. I tried to sharpen it and it's still dull as a butter knife. Also, I don't resell overpriced tickets outside of stadiums.
