Spawn Merchants are refusing my business!!!

All of the spawn NPCs are refusing my business! I've been in good standing in spawn for years now and I'm a taxpayer! Them refusing my business is racist, genderist, cubist and glassesist! The next one of them that tells me <b>"I'm sorry, but you do not have permission to perform this command. Please contact thr server administrators if you believe that this is in error."</b> is going to get a sternly worded letter from my lawyer! I'm tempted to write a post on the ACLU's website, I'm so flustered!

Well that is a very odd response. Can you tell me what immediately precedes the error message, that will help me locate the problem in the script

Any attempt to interact with them results in that. I tried the basic "/say Hello" on all of them and got the same message.

The NPCs don't work with commands, they just grab your text you put in the chat and see what it says.
So try to just say "Hello", leave the "/say" off.

If you do /say it probably thinks you're trying to do the server command, which you don't have access for.
