It is my understanding that Derpahontas and Legoboyjames4981 targeted and killed mr_badman59. mr_badman59's griefing of Clark's property may have been in response; mr_badman's response was a poor choice, no matter what the circumstances were.
Please note that griefing of all types is prohibited as listed in the Applicable Rules (http://wolf-den.net/forum/#/discussion/6...ay-29-2014).
Derpahontas and Legoboy's decision to kill mr_badman seems poorly decided. From what I've gathered:
- Legoboy (and Derpahontas) were travelling by horse.
- It was getting dark, so they asked mr_badman to go afk so it would become day
- mr_badman did not
- Legoboy's horse died during the night (of causes unknown to me)
- Legoboy pressured Derpahontas into killing mr_badman because "he killed [Legoboy's] horse"
- Legoboy and Derpahontas killed mr_badman, but later "made up"
No one is required to go Away From Keyboard upon someone elses request (I would guess unless an admin asks, but they don't need that). mr_badman would not have obligation to do so.
Being outside of a city at night is inherently dangerous. One assumes they will face peril and should be equipped for combat with the undead or other creatures, or even navigating treacherous terrain. Losing a horse is painful, but it sounds like mr_badman was not responsible for its death, even indirectly.
Peer pressure is a silly thing; avoid it! Don't let someone pressure you into doing something you wouldn't want to. You can avoid trouble this way!
I've decided to post this instead of banning Legoboy or Derpa for 1 day, as this warning could serve future conflicts as a precedent.
BE WARNED: Grief is prohibited, but killing for silly reasons is just dumb and a waste of time and effort, especially when it results in escalated revenge.
