Los Santos is full of people most players run past without a second look. For completion-minded fans, though, the Humans of Los Santos task gives those street encounters a real purpose, especially when you are building a collection around GTA 5 Accounts and want more to do than ordinary missions. The goal is to meet twelve Special Characters scattered across the map. Each one has their own voice, outfit, and strange little routine. Once you have spoken to them, they can be used as actors in Director Mode. It is a neat excuse to slow down, wander, and actually watch the city breathe.
Start with the city streets
Your first stretch is mostly inside Los Santos, and it is worth doing on foot. Jerome is preaching on Dutch London Street in Rancho, while Andy Moon can be heard warning people on Magellan Avenue in Vespucci. Jesse hangs around Del Perro Pier, looking out at the ocean. Rockford Hills has two more: Baygor on the pavement and Jane near the large fountain. Then head towards Alta and Vinewood for the rest of the city group.

Why the encounters matter
There is no big chase or dramatic set piece here. That is kind of the point. Walk close enough to one of these characters and a message should appear, confirming that another Director Mode actor has been added. If nothing pops up, give the character a moment and move around their usual spot. Traffic, crowds, or a poorly timed mission can make an encounter feel a bit awkward. Still, it is usually quick once you are in the right place.
Take the trip into Blaine County
The last three characters pull you away from the city lights. Griff is on Route 68 in the Grand Senora Desert, holding signs and shouting his message at passing vehicles. Clinton can be found along Armadillo Avenue in Sandy Shores, where he talks about his time in the service. Bill Binder is much farther north in Paleto Bay, near the local shops, handing out his anti-tax material. A helicopter helps, but a road trip works just as well if you fancy seeing the map properly.
Finish it in Director Mode
