Fun with Flags: Starring Resser

Hello folks!

Over the past couple of weeks I've been compiling snapshots of the various standards and banners of the server. Such that we can all be familiar with which flag is whose, I will commence the listing of images:

First we have the official standard of Rhaetia and the Karnak Principalities, printed by Sigurther and found on the majority of his structures. Make note of the double entente of both the ray of light from the sun and the white pyramid:

Next, we have the the Flag of Frostana. Notice the fine details forming the dragon's head:

A double feature in this one; To the left we have the Mesa banner, presumably crafted by Merlys himself: To the right, the COAT standard, which can be located most prominently in Greyhaven proper:

I apologize for the rain in these next couple of shots; Here we have the state banner of Eschaton, Make note of the slight gradient in the back, accented by the clouds above and the sea below, and the rays of the sun flying off in all four orthogonal axises:

Here we have The Order of Cobalt flag, associated with Fax_Machine and his buildings, most notable Castle Cobalt south of spawn; One of the more abstract of the flags on the server, is it a tribute to the color of some sort of gem? Who knows:

Now as for my own banner, I cannot decide whether I prefer to think of it as the dawn or the dusk; both look possible given the gradient of color, I leave you to decide:

Among the more intimidating banners, we have Wolf_Girl's standard, which bears and eerie albino creeper poised and her front entrance:

Not too far away we the more relaxed standard of Tubby, which kind of reminds me of the clouds in Mario games:

Now I'm sure I've missed several people's flags that were either hidden or otherwise unbeknownst to my field of vision, if I have overlooked your flag feel free to comment on this thread and I will add it will all possible speed! Til next time everyone!

Another little update, mostly done on Bluetopia server after some *twitch* difficulties. Here's the renovated, if not wholly restored spawn.

Obviously some things are still missing, such as a few structures around the general spawn building and a lodge on the island at the end of the pier. Additionally, the various unique roofs of the stores on the pier are rough, to say the least.

And just to give you an idea of what I've been working with, this is what it looked like before I started renovations.

Original spawn didn't fare much better.

The much beloved Ironwood facility just south of of it was completely obliterated (but the cactus generator was still partially intact!) and there wasnt enough of the cute little dirt village to the south of that to even consider rebuilding. Thankfully, with some pix from various donors, it's looking much better.

As before, if anyone has any pictures of anything from this server, I'd love to get copies of them. Thanks!

First, a colossal demon dragon tromping around near the Standard map Megapyramid.

On approach to my very first SMP fortress - no xray packs, it just glitched. You have no idea how difficult this was to make in vanilla survival. The only thing that was done in creative mode is the beacon on top, since I hadn't figured out how to delete the nether file to load a nether with fortresses. Lost when purging minecraft due to errors. I miss it.

Vines growing near a waterfall.. In the NETHER?!?! The Botanicans must be trying to invade!!

Some oddball error at the entrance to Greyhaven's underground facility. I took it as an omen and departed hastily.

The subcontractor really screwed up the Megapyramid's skylight. Now we'll never get the villagers to breed.

Always have an angel over my shoulder, even in Minecraft.

The Botanicans at it again, launching a volley of plant-based glitchyness in their attempt to invade Eschaton.

The dreaded Hydra-horse! Lop of its head and two more grow in its place! (1 in 1000 chance of donkey head)

Just to prove I am NOT going bananas.

A big one in the desert near Wolf and Malice's encampment. This one was so tame, it let me get right up close to it! Then it glitched my arm and part of my spleen off.

And here's my proof that Blue2000 is trying to assassinate Lady Malice so he can take over as Queen of Wolf's Den and sire of Twolf's heirs. I had my shovel on the ready as an op-bonking was imminent.
