The links will work fine when the forums are transfered over. The 'dirt' isn't minecraft dirt. Just something that would remind you of dirt.. Didnt think the minecraft dirt looked smooth enough.

It directs to /forums instead of /forum1. I guess I'm not sure, but I assumed these forums would be moved to the /forums directory once we switch over.

^^' Nieuw forum! The thing on the side seems to be misdirecting the urls. In navigation, server map and todays post.

The minecraft dirt texture has a lot of noise in it. White/gray/black dots scattered all around varying levels of brown. I would think it would be difficult to read any text printed on such a background.

Somewhat helpful-er criticism: It's like the top of the page is pretending to be a dirt block, but isn't, because it's too smooth for a dirt block and less pixel-y! Unless you're not adhering to the default texture pack, which is weird!

Probably a really easy "don't let this user make posts with links unless they have X amount of posts" option. That'd sort 'em.

Hopefully this forum engine just has better spam blocking. Dealing with spambots on here only takes one click though, so that's a step up from Vanilla Forums.

Can the spambot's site be blocked? Or are they all coming from completely different IP addresses?

1/4 of the current users are spambots. That actually sounds alright statistically, but considering there's only four people here, it's kind of sad...

updated the colors no clue if it looks good though.

Black? Dark gray? Dark brown maybe could look okay. I don't really have the best eye for colors working together, I just know that I hate those tiny white dots. It's like those white borders that were around everything before, they're just so shiny and tiny, they almost feel kind of messy. Like a graphical bug rather than something intentional..

I can make it solid but what color?

Anyone know how to change those white dotted lines in posts? They just bug me. I don't know what would be better, but I don't like those dots. Also set the default thread view to classic.

We can post the link to these.. get some user input.. if they like it we can switch over.

I think the forums in general look alright. Any thoughts on when it might be okay to unveil it to the public?

profile page, shoutbox, and posts now show Minecraft avatars

Mostly just went around turning text white or gray. Put a few bits of brown background in on some things. Might dig in and see if I can get rid of all the shiny white 1 pixel borders that seem to be around every box everywhere. They look like they'd be happier as dark gray or black.

Been busy last couple days to play with this.. may get more done this weekend.. feel free to press buttons.. I'm far from done so there's lots of broken stuff.

I think I'm done pushing buttons. Everything seems fine to me, except perhaps the legend on the individual forum view. Those should get minecraftified.

I went and pushed more buttons... I don't think I broke anything, but things are different now. Hopefully better?

The post viewing seems to have some bugged colors (white header, black body). Pressing buttons I discovered that changing the '.tborder{background:' color changed that... Which just seems broken to me. Then, I also have no clue what all that means, I just push buttons.

I'm thinking we might need a colored box around the whole 'body' area. It's neat to see the background peaking through, but there's too much text floating out in hard-to-read space.
