Really, the longer we wait the better the chances of things not breaking in some horrible and unexpected way. So that's nice, maybe. For example, that awesome skill that everyone loves in mcMMO, Alchemy, didn't work with 1.9 at all.... But now it does! WOW! We'll get there soon enough though. I think everything should for the most part work fine.

I'm just underwhelmed enough by 1.9 that waiting a bit longer doesnt bother me in the least. I'd rather have a fully functional MCMMO than 1.9 Screencap your mcstats just in case! :p

Ahhh nooooOOOoo I really don't like 1.9 so far. The duel hand thing is pretty nice, but monsters are stronger now and I'm a builder not a fighter man

It will also currently stop mobs from wandering in (they just disappear), but I think I'd like to disable that feature if I can.

Personally, 1.9 hasn't impressed me much yet. But, we shall see!

I kind of like having the option to enable or disable mobs in town. I keep them enabled, because it's fun to fight the occasioal zombie horde, but in a walled-off town, how are monsters getting in? Pity it cant be an option that costs money or something, wether a one time cost or a daily fee. Hey, gotta pay the wizard to keep the antimonster field up! Hell, even if its just something only admin can turn on when someone has a significant enough wall up around their town.

I like that you can disable mobs with Towny.
I just don't like that it will vaporize any mobs that walk in to a town from outside. If a zombie horde is pursuing you, you shouldn't just be saved by Towny the second you walk within the border of your town. That's what walls and gates are for. Maybe even set up some NPC sentries, once we update to 1.9.

I'm still not sure about getting towny for the sky town.. I still like the idea of anybody getting to build there whenever they want.

Oh yeah, I totally agree with you on the issue of mobs vanishing when then walk into towny areas. Sorry, misread what you posted above.

I updated the server as spigot and all the plugins are claiming 1.9. We'll see how it goes.

Still a little underwhelmed by 1.9, but I am happy the End finally got some much-needed love. Thanks for your hard work, guys! We appreciate everything the owners and admins do for our quiet little server.

I've noticed there seems to be some mob 'dead zones' where they just seem to lose their AI and other weird things occur. Mostly around spawn from what I've seen. Will need to investigate further.
